I am skilled in writing press releases and communicating with media outlets about possible features in local newspapers and on radio. I can manage multiple projects whilst offering detailed analysis of all the productions target audiences. I do well in developing copy for social media marketing and handling social media pages. My most recent work in social media marketing was for the production of Amaxelegu written and performed by Qondiswa James and directed by Greg Homann.

I am a publicity intern at Theatre Arts with a strong interest in marketing and communications with a background in Marketing management. During my time at Theatre Arts, I have developed skill and experience in writing and distributing press releases to media , as well as identifying and analysing target markets for different productions in order to determine the most effective media platforms to reach. I work across social media management, including planning content, creating posts, and maintaining consistent audience engagement. My skills also extend to designing content on Canva, editing reels and images, and shaping visually engaging material that aligns with each production’s identity. I have played a role in securing media exposure, including arranging radio interviews and building connections within the industry. My work is driven by a passion for storytelling, audience connection, and creating visibility for artists and their work within the theatre space.
