Missverständnisse

Workshop Theatre
Facilitated by Marie HAHNE and Gordon ADAMS

How about we don’t avoid misunderstandings but put them in the spotlight? While some theatre projects, team-building exercises, and self-help books aim to prevent misunderstandings, Missverständnisse turns this idea upside down, exploring the artistic and poetic potential of getting things wrong.

Through swallowed words, borrowed costumes, failed translations, and love confessions, misunderstandings become the starting point for new forms of dialogue, rhythm, and connection. In this project, two different groups come together to develop two unique approaches to misunderstanding – not as the end of dialogue, but as the beginning of new ways in and around the theatre.

Group 1: 17 November

Group 2: 18 November
