Masc

Comedy
Written and performed by Aldo BRINCAT | Directed by Sophie JOANS
13+

Set in the early days of South Africa’s democracy, Masc follows a teenager grappling with love, sex and identity. His worldview has been shaped by a repressive education system. But nothing prepares him for the chaos of real connection.

Years later, he looks back. He remembers a single relationship that changed everything.

Brincat plays every character. The performance is physical. Raw. Honest. Funny. Using clowning, poor theatre and mask work, Masc is layered, surprising and deeply human.
