New pathways open in the brain when we learn to recognize plants. Using projections, physical theatre and storytelling, this production explores the stories of some of our indigenous flowers. The darkness allows us to see even the smallest of flowers as a whole world. We can journey deep into the resilient exuberance of Spring, of the First Rains, of plants that know our land on the deepest molecular level. Come join us in a dream of the flowers of our land. We breathe in Arums and cradle seeds. We trace cycles of the seasons and the journey of flourishing in the most impossible conditions. Connected to our memories of elders and ancestors, these flowers have returned from destruction again and again. They bloom for a season. They have evolved over thousands of seasons. They rise with joy from the wreckage and the ashes. These flowers remember you.
