Whilst walking through the wilderness, an egg is discovered. What animal will hatch out. Will it grow up safe and sound? Follow the feathers and footsteps of growing up, against the background of the wilderness. Babah-Go-Wild is a theatre performance for babies, toddlers and their caregivers. Through a narrative structure with sounds, objects and songs, the production captures the imagination of the little ones according to their own developmental milestones.

Theatre for babies and/or toddlers is not a new phenomenon. Since the 1980s, Europe has taken the lead in creating theatre that reflects the worlds of babies and toddlers.

It is a privilege for Schoemé to enjoy this special theatre genre in South Africa. Since 2016, PuppeTrix specializes in Theatre for the Very Young. Time and time again, audiences are amazed at the ability of a baby, as young as 4 months old, to enjoy theatre.

Schoemé had the privilege of being able to see and learn from productions far and wide, from Italy, Singapore, Denmark and Wales. Locally she has performed at numerous festivals, KKNK, Vrystaat Arts Festival, Woordfees and many schools.
